Asphalt Plant Labourer

Who We Are Looking For, and What We Have to Offer:
Our team is looking for a motivated Asphalt Plant Labourer to assist with day-to-day operations at our asphalt plant. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. Previous experience in asphalt or plant operations is an asset but not required. This is a full time seasonal position. Here’s what you can expect when working with us:

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials.
- Support plant operators in maintaining smooth production operations.
- Assist with routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct general housekeeping and cleanup around the plant.
- Help monitor equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support plant operations.
- Follow all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in asphalt production, construction, or plant operations is an asset.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude for performing basic maintenance on plant equipment.
- Have a valid driver's license and driver’s abstract according to company policy.
- Willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and travel, with crews, as projects and locations may vary throughout the summer.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- As this is a safety sensitive position, pre-employment drug screening is in effect.
