Full job description

Amer Sports is looking for hardworking, dedicated individuals to work in our Inflation department. Candidates MUST be flexible to work any shift as operational needs require. Day Shift is Mon-Fri from 6:30am to 3pm.
Afternoon shift is Mon-Thurs from 3pm to 1:30am.
Weekend shift is Fri-Sun from 3pm to 3am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

Inflate various types of sports balls using an industrial compressor.
Construct packaging material and place the inflated ball in proper package.
Perform value added service (VAS), adding customer specific labeling, organizing specifically to customer requirements, etc.
Prepare sports balls for shipping – placing the individually packaged inflated sports balls into larger boxes to be shipped. Boxes are taped shut and loaded onto palettes to move them in the warehouse.
Associates are expected to maintain set production levels on a daily basis.
Associates may be asked occasionally to assist in the unloading of inbound containerized product
Responsibilities also include other tasks assigned by supervisor

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Qualified lift truck operator preferred
Must be an effective communicator
Must have the ability to read with comprehension

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Grip and lift boxes frequently, twist, bend, lower and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Associates must consistently kneel, stoop, and crouch without accommodation

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods at an inflation station and occasionally walk. The noise level in the work environment fluctuates but is usually moderate.

RATE OF PAY:

$21.98 per hour - increasing to $22.64 on July 1st.
