Business Development Representative — Commercial Services
Base + Uncapped Commission

Location: Welland, ON (hybrid) with local travel across Niagara and Hamilton
Pay: $40,000 base + uncapped commission on jobs won from leads you generate. Realistic first-year earnings $55,000–$70,000.

You’re good on the phone. You don’t wait for leads, you create them. You want a base you can count on and commission with no ceiling. We’re growing fast and we need someone to build our pipeline.
You’ll have a warm backlog to work from day one while you build your own.

EverLine Coatings & Services is one of North America’s fastest-growing commercial pavement maintenance companies. Our Hamilton & Niagara franchise runs out of Welland and serves commercial, industrial, and institutional clients across Niagara and Hamilton. Line painting, crack filling, sealcoating, asphalt & concrete work, sweeping, and pressure washing.
About the Role
This is a business development role and it lives at the front of our sales engine. Your job is to create leads and book appointments: plazas, industrial properties, property managers, retail, institutions, churches, dealerships. You’ll prospect by phone, email, and online, work a target list, drop in on properties, and get our name in front of the people who buy pavement maintenance.
You won’t be closing the deals yourself, and that’s the point. Once you’ve qualified a lead and booked the appointment, our GM takes it from there: he walks the site, scopes the work, and quotes it. You stay close to keep the relationship warm, and you get paid when it closes. You sell the meeting; we win the job.
You also won’t be starting from zero. We run a steady inbound flow of inquiries, and we have a strong database of past leads and quotes to re-engage on day one. That’s income while you build your cold pipeline.
A note on fit: we’re a growth company and the people who do well here want to be part of building something. We’ll teach you the trade. We can’t teach hustle.
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls, emails, and online outreach to commercial property contacts across Niagara and Hamilton, every day
- Build and work a target list of commercial, industrial, and institutional properties
- Re-engage our backlog and past quotes, and fast-follow new inbound leads so none go cold
- Qualify leads and book site-visit appointments for our General Manager
- Drop in on properties and attend local networking events to open doors
- Keep every lead, touch, and appointment in our CRM (HubSpot)
What You Need
- Outbound sales, inside sales, business development, telemarketing, or appointment-setting experience, and you were good at it
- Comfortable on the phone and resilient to rejection. You can make 50 calls and keep your energy on call 51
- Organized and self-managed. You can run a target list and a CRM without being chased
- A growth mindset. You want to get better, take coaching, and grow with a company that’s scaling
- Comfortable with commission as a real part of your pay. The base is your floor; the commission is the win
- G licence, clean abstract, and a reliable vehicle for local drop-ins (mileage paid)
Nice-to-Haves
- B2B or commercial sales background
- Exposure to property management, facilities, construction, or trades
- CRM experience
