About the Role
This is a chance to help build the marketing engine of a fast-moving sports company — not just manage tasks, but shape strategy, organize the team, and grow into a bigger leadership role as the company scales.
We’re looking for a hungry, organized, and growth-minded Marketing Manager who can drive strategy across social media, email, brand, and campaigns while helping our current marketing team stay aligned and moving fast.
You’ll work closely with our existing team across creative, video, ads, social, and email. You will not be expected to shoot or edit video, and you will not directly manage paid ads. We already have specialists in place for that. Your role is to help set direction, coordinate the team, manage priorities, and make sure great ideas turn into real execution.
This is a major growth opportunity. The goal is to continue building out the marketing team around this person, creating a clear path to more ownership, leadership, and responsibility over time.
What You’ll Do
- Lead marketing strategy across social media, email, brand, and campaigns
- Manage the marketing calendar and keep projects organized
- Work with the existing team to assign priorities, track progress, and move projects forward
- Own social media planning, content direction, captions, posting strategy, and campaign ideas
- Plan, write, and improve email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and customer flows
- Coordinate with the video team on creative direction, timelines, and deliverables
- Join paid ads meetings to align strategy, review performance, and help make decisions
- Write or review copy for emails, social posts, landing pages, and campaign materials
- Turn ideas into briefs, tasks, timelines, and clear next steps
- Find scrappy ways to build momentum, test ideas, and improve results
Who You Are
You’re someone who wants more responsibility, not less. You like moving fast, figuring things out, and seeing your work turn into real growth.
You are:
- Ambitious, passionate, and excited to grow quickly
- Highly organized and good at keeping people aligned
- Strong in social media, content, copywriting, and brand voice
- Interested in email marketing, customer journeys, and audience growth
- Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on
- A clear communicator who can work with creative, video, ads, and leadership teams
- Scrappy, resourceful, and willing to solve problems without waiting for perfect instructions
- Motivated by ownership, feedback, self-improvement, and real responsibility
- Willing to put in extra effort during important launches, deadlines, and growth pushes
What We’re Looking For
Ideal experience includes:
- Marketing education, training, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with social media strategy and content planning
- Email marketing experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience coordinating marketing projects, calendars, or small teams
- Basic understanding of paid ads, creative, video, and web/landing page workflows
- Some graphic design sense or ability to give clear creative direction
You don’t need to be a media buyer, graphic designer, or video editor. But you do need to understand how those pieces fit together and know how to keep the team moving.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a slow corporate marketing job.
You’ll have the chance to help build the marketing function, shape the team, create structure, and grow into a larger leadership role over time. You’ll be joining at a stage where your ideas, organization, and execution can have a real impact.
If you’re hungry, creative, organized, and ready to help build something, this role is built for you.
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
