Description

We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators to support a water piping replacement project within an active operating facility.

At Ledcor, you’ll be part of a dependable crew focused on safety, teamwork and delivering quality results.

Essential Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, loaders, telehandlers, excavators or articulating trucks in a safe and efficient manner
Perform earthworks, material placement, trenching, grading, and backfilling according to project specifications
Ability to work safely and in close proximity to ground personnel and other equipment
Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, and ground, and acts accordingly
Step in on general construction tasks when needed—team-first mindset
Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a variety of equipment including excavators, loaders, skid steers, telehandlers or articulating trucks
Previous experience working in industrial construction/maintenance or pipeline maintenance is required
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
Valid driver’s license

Work Conditions:

Applicants who reside in Fort McMurray will be given preference due to the location of the project
Camp accommodations available
Living out allowance available
14 days on, 7 days off shift rotation working 12 hours per day
Must be able to work day or night shifts
