This role will report into the Lead Finance Officer (LFO)’s team supporting the International Card Services (ICS) group in Canada. The Senior Financial Analyst will lead activities that deliver data-driven recommendations to Canada’s Country Manager and leadership team. The role offers an opportunity to collaborate with various teams across the globe, not only within Finance, but also across key business units and partner groups.
With numerous stakeholders requiring consultative finance support, there is a high level of exposure and numerous opportunities to gain in-depth insights to real business challenges across the Canadian and international LFO teams. Required Qualifications
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to follow business and industry trends and relate them to financial results.
- Ability to draw conclusions, predictions, and actionable recommendations from data analysis.
- Basic SQL skills with proven experience extracting, structuring, and analyzing large, complex datasets to generate actionable business and financial insights.
- Ability to transform datasets into compelling visuals that clearly articulate business drivers and drive insights.
- Expert-level Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation.
- Strong PowerPoint skills for synthesizing analyses into compelling, executive-ready materials.
- Bachelor's degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis roles involving large datasets, financial modeling, forecasting, and translating analytics into actionable business insights.

- Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and a proactive approach to integrating them into financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Experience using visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proven experience in a collaborative role with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent relationship-building capability and ability to influence others without direct authority, combined with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure, effectively manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and resilience with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Confidence to ask questions, develop a point of view, and voice an opinion in meetings with senior executives.
Relevant designation (CPA, CFA, MBA, MMA).
