Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic and engaging ABA Therapist to work with children and youth reach their potential through interactive and effective programs and tailored strategies. Here at Spokes Autism Services, we provide home based therapy to children in their homes within the communites that we serve.

This candidate will be available in the evenings to travel with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to provide services in the Mississauga, Brampton and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include:

Delivering a high quality ABA services to clients within their homes in the community
Preparation of teaching materials, implementing the programming, monitoring the client’s progress and the effectiveness of the individualized programs
Responsible for progress notes, recording and graphing of programming data
Communicate clearly and effectively to clients and their parents/caregivers along with others on the care team.
Maintains confidentiality of client and company information and discusses same only with appropriate company Managers/Team Leads.
Participate in scheduled team meetings and conferences as required
Complete other tasks as requested

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

Post-Secondary education in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences or equivalent or near completion of such degree OR CYW, SSW, PSW, or DSW diploma
At minimum 2 years of ABA experience
Keen understanding of ABA principles, practices, and procedures and able to effectively run programming.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational abilities
Self-motivated, high energy, and enthusiastic individuals are preferred
Work independently and in a team with student both individually and in groups
A current and clear Vulnerable Sector Screen Check
Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license and car insurance and be open to travelling within the peel Region and it's surrounding areas.
