Summary

Join our team as an SRT Operator and play a key role in building high-quality electronic assemblies that power innovative solutions. We are urgently looking to fill one (1) opening on afternoon shift. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with advanced technology, perform precision soldering, and contribute to the success of our production operations. If you’re detail-oriented, passionate about electronics, and eager to grow your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact. This position reports to the Afternoon Primary Leader or designate.

What You’ll Do

Execute production steps following clear work instructions to ensure top-quality results.
Operate the SRT machine, assist in developing profiles, and set up tooling and procedures.
Create, update, and maintain SRT programs for efficient operations.
Perform soldering of through-hole and SMT components on PCBs with precision.
Communicate any issues promptly to your Supervisor and help maintain smooth workflows.
Verify all processes meet documentation and quality standards.
Collaborate with your shift Supervisor to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Support product integration and simple assembly tasks when needed.
Conduct repairs and rework on PCB assemblies using IPC standards.
Operate repair stations and handle materials safely using ESD guidelines.
Maintain high-quality standards throughout production.
Assist other production areas as needed—teamwork is key!

What We’re Looking For

Solid understanding of electronic assemblies, including through-hole and SMT components, drawings, and BOMs.
Knowledge of quality systems and ESD control.
Familiarity with IPC Standards for PCB repair; ISO 9002 experience is a plus.
Ability to read drawings, BOMs, and schematics accurately.
A team player who is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence.
Strong English communication skills (read, write, speak).
2–3 years of soldering experience.
Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or enrollment in a technical program.
Lean Manufacturing knowledge is an asset.

LOCATION - 100% ON-SITE

The position location is based in Markham, Ontario facilities (Building A at 195 Royal Crest Court and/or Building B at 3930 14th Avenue)
Incumbent must be open to working at both facilities as business and operational needs dictate

WORK HOURS

Regular shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Afternoon Shift) (may be scheduled for training on day shift as needed)
