$75,000 to 80K base + Commission, Car Allowance + Full Benefits - High Earning Potential $
The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, growing company revenue, generating sales from new and existing customers.
What is my client looking for?
- 5+ Years’ experience in Sales prefer B to B Sales
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Experience selling industrial accounts - food processors, manufacturing, construction.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an account management or client-facing sales role.
- Familiarity with the industrial distribution sectors is considered an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and various reporting tools.
- Experience with retail platforms and vendor systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen.
- Team-oriented approach with a desire for continuous improvement and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for a defined group of business customers, managing all aspects of the relationship and sales process.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing partnerships across various industrial channels.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align customer needs with product offerings, promotional activity, and operational execution.
- Develop account strategies and sales forecasts, aligning plans with broader business goals and timelines.
- Leverage data and sales analytics to monitor product and category performance, informing strategic decisions and ongoing account development.
- Ensure internal systems (e.g., CRM) are updated with relevant account activity, opportunities, and status updates.
- Support execution of marketing and merchandising programs that drive visibility and sell-through.
