Location: 222 Fairview Drive, Unit 104 & 105, Brantford, ON N3R 2W9

Position Type: Part-Time (Potential for Growth)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience

About CMHR

Concepts in Mental Health and Resilience (CMHR) is a growing multidisciplinary organization providing psychotherapy services, workplace mental health consulting, health and safety training, recreational programming, expressive arts programming, and community wellness services throughout Brantford and surrounding communities.

We are seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our expanding operations.

Position Summary

The Receptionist / Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for clients, community partners, and service providers. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic while providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming and professional environment.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to email inquiries
Schedule appointments and manage calendars using our practice management software
Assist clients with intake forms, service inquiries, and registration processes
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Support administrative tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with privacy legislation
Assist with program registrations, workshops, classes, and events
Support marketing and social media initiatives as required
Maintain reception and waiting areas in a clean and organized manner
Provide general administrative support to management and service providers

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, Medical Office Administration, or a related field preferred
Minimum one year of administrative, reception, customer service, or healthcare office experience preferred
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience with scheduling software or electronic records systems considered an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Professional, friendly, and client-centered approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Assets

Experience working in healthcare, mental health, counselling, or community service settings
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing activities
Knowledge of Jane Practice Management software is considered an asset
