Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to oversee landscape and horticultural projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, hands-on experience in irrigation, gardening, and construction, and a proven track record in supervising teams. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with clients to deliver exceptional landscape maintenance and horticultural services.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticultural activities on various project sites
Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Lead and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance and support to meet project goals
Plan and organize daily work schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
Conduct site inspections to monitor quality standards and safety compliance
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide professional recommendations
Assist in construction-related tasks as needed, including site preparation and installation work
Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition
Train new team members on best practices in landscape care, horticulture, and safety procedures

Skills

Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance
Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Construction experience is a plus for overseeing installation projects
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Strong organizational skills to plan daily operations effectively
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate loads as required
