Type of Position: Full-Time
Wage Range: $19.90-$20.90/ hour (with paid breaks)
Expected Schedule: 32-40 hours/week, Tues-Sat, hours subject to change based on business needs

Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative (WIN) is a non-profit community service cooperative that provides programs to support women, trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people along their journey between crisis, self-sufficiency, and wellness. We run seven (7) resale shop locations as well as an online shop to be able to support us in funding our programs and operations.

About the Role
The Operations Support position provides flexible operational support across production, warehouse, donation intake, transportation, distribution, and recycling functions within WIN's Donation Centre.
Working closely with production staff, volunteers, drivers, and operational leaders, this role assists wherever support is needed to ensure the efficient flow of donations and products through WIN's production systems. The position supports multiple departments and contributes to maintaining a safe, organized, productive, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):
- Support donation intake, sorting, processing, distribution, recycling, and warehouse operations.
- Receive, unload, sort, and move donated items throughout the Donation Centre.
- Assist with cleaning, testing, pricing, packaging, and preparing products for retail sale and distribution.
- Support loading and unloading vehicles and assist with transportation and delivery activities.
- Assist departments experiencing increased workload or operational needs.
- Maintain clean, organized, safe, and efficient workspaces.
- Support positive donor, customer, and volunteer experiences.
- Follow established health and safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and communicate operational, maintenance, or safety concerns.
- Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers across multiple operational areas.
- Other duties as required.
Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience in warehouse, production, retail, logistics, transportation, recycling, donation processing, or related environments is an asset.
- Experience working in a thrift store, non-profit, or volunteer-supported environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, sorting, loading, and unloading donated goods.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
- Experience in a non-profit environment is considered an asset.

Other:
- The position is based primarily at WIN's Donation Centre and warehouse facilities.
- Frequent movement between production, warehouse, intake, and operational areas is required.
- Travel between WIN sites may occasionally be required.
