Silverhill Acura is looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Marketing Coordinator – Events, Social Media & Community Engagement to support our dealership’s marketing initiatives, social media presence, events, off-site displays, digital marketing, website updates, and community involvement.
This is not solely a social media role. While content creation and social media planning are an important part of the position, this role also involves event coordination, vendor communication, mall/off-site displays, marketing materials, website support, and hands-on support for dealership initiatives.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys both the creative and coordination sides of marketing — someone who can plan content, organize details, follow up with vendors and team members, support digital campaigns, and help bring marketing ideas from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content across dealership platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant channels
- Develop and maintain a monthly marketing and content calendar
- Monitor social media platforms and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner
- Delegate social media inquiries, leads, or customer concerns to the appropriate department as needed
- Capture day-to-day photo and video content for vehicles, staff, dealership culture, service, parts, events, and community initiatives
- Coordinate dealership events, customer events, staff events, sponsorships, and promotional initiatives
- Organize mall displays and off-site vehicle displays, including logistics, signage, vehicle coordination, staffing, and lead capture materials
- Communicate with vendors for signage, printing, promotional materials, rentals, photo/video, digital advertising, and event support
- Assist with marketing materials, dealership signage, displays, giveaways, and campaign assets
- Support basic website updates, content changes, landing pages, promotions, and campaign-related website requests
- Assist with SEO-focused content planning, including website copy, keywords, and local search visibility
- Support Google Ads and other digital advertising initiatives by coordinating campaign details, creative assets, approvals, and performance follow-up
- Work with sales, service, parts, and management to identify content opportunities, campaign needs, website updates, and marketing priorities
- Coordinate approved freelance photo/video support for larger campaigns, events, or professional content needs
- Track basic performance of social media posts, website updates, Google Ads, events, campaigns, and marketing initiatives
- Maintain organized marketing files, vendor information, event checklists, project timelines, and content plans
- Support other dealership marketing and administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in marketing, events, communications, social media, digital marketing, community engagement, or a related role
- Strong organization, time-management, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable creating photo and video content using a phone or basic camera equipment
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, website content, and local search visibility
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Google Business Profile, website updates, or digital campaigns is an asset
- Comfortable responding to social media messages and knowing when to escalate or delegate inquiries
- Confident communicating with vendors, staff, managers, customers, and external partners
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable being hands-on with event set-up, displays, signage, and marketing materials
- Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or website platforms is an asset
- Automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but not required
- Valid driver’s licence required
Freelance Content Support
This position may be supported by an approved freelance content budget for larger campaigns, dealership events, off-site displays, and professional video/photo needs. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning the content, coordinating with vendors, gathering approvals, and ensuring the final content is posted and used effectively.

Schedule
