General Assembly Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Scarborough, ON, working afternoons. In this role, you will assemble, process, and package products while ensuring high quality standards, efficiency, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Read and follow work instructions, technical procedures, and specifications
- Perform peeling, sorting, cutting, packing, and gluing tasks in a fast-paced production environment
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies accurately and efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections and separate defective products
- Pack finished goods accurately for shipment and distribution
- Operate assembly tools and manufacturing equipment
- Take precision measurements to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Test and calibrate components to meet quality and tolerance standards
- Maintain daily production records and documentation
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an assembler or production worker

Mandatory: Previous gluing experience in a manufacturing or production setting

Experience performing packing, sorting, and quality inspection tasks

Ability to read blueprints, instructions, and technical drawings

Knowledge of quality control procedures

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to use hand tools and production equipment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials

High school diploma or technical training (asset)
