Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and EXPERINCED Line Cook to join our team. Resumes submitted without this exact job experience will not be considered!!!!!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and served promptly
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Follow all safety procedures and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Assist with meal plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal

Skills

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen operations
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
Experience with restaurant operations, including meal prep, food service, and kitchen management is preferred
