General Labourer / Production Assistant

Blue Rock Animal Nutrition – Innisfail, AB

Temporary Position with Potential to Become Permanent

About Us

Blue Rock Animal Nutrition is a locally owned premix manufacturing facility serving the cattle industry throughout Alberta. We are a fast-paced operation that values teamwork, safety, and reliability. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our production team and assist with the day-to-day operation of our facility.

Position Summary

As a General Labourer / Production Assistant, you will work alongside the Production Manager and production team to support manufacturing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

Assist with the manufacturing and bagging of mineral products
Load and unload trucks using a forklift and skid steer
Load and unload commodity deliveries
Assist with inventory management and organization
Perform general warehouse, yard, and shop duties
Follow daily cleaning schedules and maintain a clean work environment
Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices
Assist the Production Manager with daily operational tasks
Provide excellent customer service when loading customer vehicles and trucks

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
Experience operating a forklift and skid steer is an asset
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license preferred
