Our client, a leader in manufacturing and electrical systems, is seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler I to join their team. As an Electromechanical Assembler I, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and wiring of electrical components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler I
Location: Delta, BC
Pay Rate: $17.60
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical, and sub-assembly components onto panels, enclosures, and structures following standard layouts.
- Wire electrical products with basic and standard options according to customer drawings and schematics.
- Perform wiring with non-standard options under the guidance of experienced electrical assemblers.
- Check for functionality through continuity testing and other verification methods.
- Support inventory management by performing cycle counts and following materials procedures.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Basic understanding of wiring schematic symbols is an asset.
- Willingness to support overtime as required.
