Objectif et description du poste

L'analyste financier senior joue un rôle clé dans la fourniture d'informations financières précises, opportunes et pertinentes pour l'ensemble des entités nord-américaines. Ce poste soutient les activités complexes liées au reporting financier, à la budgétisation, aux prévisions et aux initiatives stratégiques. L'analyste senior encadre également les membres juniors de l'équipe, dirige des projets à fort impact et contribue à l'amélioration continue des systèmes et processus financiers

Responsabilités clés

Diriger des analyses financières complexes et des examens analytiques sur une base mensuelle, trimestrielle et annuelle.
Vérifier et approuver les écritures comptables et les rapports financiers préparés par les analystes juniors. Superviser la préparation et la soumission des dossiers de reporting internes et externes.
Accompagner et soutenir le développement des analystes financiers juniors.
Élaborer et mettre à jour des rapports de gestion avancés et des tableaux de bord destinés à la direction.
Garantir l'exactitude et la conformité des transactions multidevises et inter-sociétés.
Diriger certains aspects des processus de budgétisation et de prévision, y compris la modélisation de scénarios.
Piloter les transitions et les améliorations du système ERP, en garantissant l'intégrité des données et l'optimisation des processus.
Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus afin d'accroître l'efficacité, l'automatisation et l'évolutivité.
Assurer la coordination avec des équipes interfonctionnelles sur des initiatives financières stratégiques et des projets spéciaux.
Apporter un soutien aux audits internes et externes, en garantissant une documentation précise et dans les délais.
Réaliser des analyses financières ponctuelles pour soutenir la prise de décision opérationnelle.
Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour élaborer et évaluer des analyses de rentabilité pour les initiatives stratégiques.
Fournir des modélisations et des analyses financières pour soutenir les projets.
Concevoir et améliorer les outils financiers et les cadres de reporting afin d'améliorer la prise de décision.
Contribuer aux processus de planification et de prévision à long terme en partenariat avec les dirigeants de l'entreprise.
Suivre les tendances du marché et les indicateurs clés de performance afin de formuler des recommandations stratégiques.

Exigences du poste

Licence en comptabilité ou en finance (le titre de CPA est fortement apprécié).
4 à 6 ans d'expérience progressive dans le domaine du reporting financier, de l'analyse financière ou dans des fonctions connexes.
Solide connaissance des normes IFRS et de la consolidation financière.
Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Excel et de la modélisation financière.
Expérience des systèmes ERP et BI (par exemple, IBM TM1, Cognos Controller, SAP S/4HANA).
Expérience en matière de comptabilité des devises étrangères et de la comptabilité inter-sociétés.
Solides compétences en matière de leadership et de mentorat.
Excellentes capacités d'analyse, de communication et de présentation.
Grand souci du détail et souci de la précision.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique soumis à des délais serrés.
Esprit proactif, flexible et axé sur les solutions.
Collabore avec les équipes des services financiers, de la comptabilité, des opérations et de l'informatique.
Assure la liaison avec les auditeurs externes et les représentants de la société mère.
Travaille en partenariat avec les responsables des unités opérationnelles pour leur fournir des analyses financières et des recommandations.
Assiste les administrateurs des systèmes ERP et BI lors des mises à niveau et des transitions.
Travail principalement en bureau, avec de longues périodes passées devant l'ordinateur.

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information across multiple North American entities. They will work closely with Supply Chain and the Sourcing departments on long term forecasting and budgeting, business cases, cost analysis and support Operational Excellence initiatives. They will lead optimization analyses, perform root cause analyses, drive operational excellence, and identify and validate cost saving opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Perform financial analysis and analytical reviews on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis.
Review and analyze internal financial statements.
Assist in developing strategic plans, support decision making and action plans with data and analysis.
Serve as a point of contact for questions related to Distribution costs.
Aide in the development of Power BI reporting and dashboards.
Drive business case processes for Distribution/Procurement Projects (expansion/replacement) and provide financial analysis and assist with strategic planning.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support the transition to new ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and process alignment.
Assist in adapting financial processes and tools to new systems.
Identify and implement initiatives to improve, automate, and scale financial reporting tools and methodologies.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Understand sector requirements, priorities, and strategy of corporate function teams to deliver tailored financial reporting and insights
Perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to address financial gaps between expected and actual performance
Coordinate and validate monthly financial reports, including variance explanations and investigations
Assist with annual inventory counts (travel may be required).

Qualifications:

Experience working within a global setting is an asset.
Strong knowledge of Power BI
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
Experience with ERP and BI systems (e.g., IBM TM1, Cognos Controller, SAP S/4HANA) is a strong asset
Strong understanding of sourcing and supply chain processes, issues, and priorities.
Very good knowledge of business case processes, including benefits tracking.
Bilingual (Fluent in English – French is a big plus).

Partners with ERP and BI system administrators during system transitions and upgrades
Primarily office-based (3 days) and remote (2 days).
