We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper in our Barrie office to manage our daily financial records and ensure compliance with full-cycle accounting standards.

Working closely with our Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Records and categorizes all financial transactions using QuickBooks Online accounting software.
- Performs monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Manages AP and AR functions, including inputting and administering vendor bills and customer invoices.
- Prepares essential financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements.
- Enters and processes various provincial and federal government remittances.
- Maintains an organized digital record system.
- Assists in preparing documents for year-end audits or tax filings.
- Assists with additional bookkeeping tasks, administrative functions, and special projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Knowledge of generally accepted full-cycle accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency using QuickBooks Online.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business administration is considered an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
