We are seeking an experienced and passionate Prep Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate has previous experience preparing a variety of cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience or ready to learn quickly, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

provide wow customer service and maintain our values.
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables etc.
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so can be organized and easily accessible.
Prepare food according to menu specifications.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Follow proper food-handling procedures.
Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dinning area.
Communication and team work require within kitchen staff.
Respond to requests from customers in a timely manner.
Physical capability - standing for extended period, fast and busy environment, handle heavy load, physically demanding.

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Guelph, ON N1G 4Z1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
