Material Handler / Forklift Operator
AMC Foam Technologies Inc. – Headingley, MB
Full-time, Permanent
Starting at $18.50 per hour

AMC Foam Technologies Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team.

At AMC Foam, we are committed to building and training a strong team while following rigorous quality processes to ensure the EPS products we manufacture meet our customers’ high expectations.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials within the facility
Load and unload shipments while ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper product handling
Assist with order picking and preparation for shipping as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Conduct routine equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams to support workflow and efficiency

Qualifications

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work with limited supervision
Must have reliable transportation to Headingley, MB, as public transportation is not available
Clear understanding of safety rules and ability to follow all safety standards
Strong verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and understand information
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong time management and organizational skills
Forklift experience is considered an asset

Compensation and Benefits

Starting wage of $18.50 per hour, with the opportunity for increases based on performance
Day shift opening
