Full job description

Aveiro Bakery is a small, family oriented and BUSY bakery located in North Oakville (2530 Sixth Line). We produce and sell a wide variety of pastries/desserts, breads and other baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, sandwiches, and coffees.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and hard working individual who is willing to commit to our team as a Fry Cook. The Fry Cook will work closely with the Head Baker, mainly focused on frying dough to make donuts and other fried goods.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The candidate must be able to work 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 5am every morning. We are closed on Mondays. The average shift length ranges between 6 and 8 hours.

Tasks:

Frying donuts and other fried goods
Decorating donuts
Assisting the rest of the team where needed (ex. bread production, freezer pulls, preparation, etc.)
Deep cleaning and dishwashing (occasional heavy lifting up to 50lb involved)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Kitchen/bakery experience required
Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50lb and work a physically demanding job

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
