Project Description :
Total Systems Guyana Inc. (TSG) is seeking a suitably qualified Service Operator – Stim Jobs for a field-based role in Guyana. This is a fixed-term six-month contract role aligned to stimulation equipment operations in offshore and related rig-based environments.
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain, function-test, rig up, rig down, and safely operate stimulation equipment while supporting efficient, disciplined, and well-controlled field execution.
This role requires prior offshore experience, strong English communication skills, and demonstrated familiarity with DME, HT400 high-pressure pumps, blenders, mixers, CPumps, and related support equipment.
Services Required
- · Operate stimulation equipment in line with approved job design, operational procedures, and site requirements.
- · Prepare stimulation equipment and related support systems for service, including routine maintenance and required function testing.
· Assist with rig up and rig down activities for stimulation equipment and associated job-spread components.
· Maintain compliance with internal safety, quality, and HSE standards, as well as applicable site, vessel, and regulatory requirements.
· Support safe operation of stimulation equipment, including DME, HT400 pumps, blenders, mixers, and CPumps, where applicable to the work scope.
· Maintain clear operational records and communicate equipment readiness, service issues, and job progress to the appropriate operational stakeholders.
Duties Include
- · Operate stimulation equipment safely and effectively in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and site requirements.
- · Prepare equipment for work, perform pre-job checks, routine maintenance, and function testing before and during operations.
- · Support the correct rig up, operation, monitoring, and rig down of stimulation equipment and associated support equipment.
- · Operate and work with DME, HT400 high-pressure pumps, blenders, mixers, and CPumps where applicable to contract requirements.
- · Coordinate with supervisory personnel and other crew members to support safe, efficient, and well-controlled operations.
- · Ensure required inspections, maintenance checks, and function tests are completed and documented before and during operations.
- · Carry out work in a manner that supports days of service with no safety or service quality issues.
- · Support the identification, reporting, and resolution of equipment, personnel, process, or HSE concerns during the job.
- · Follow stop-work expectations, hazard awareness requirements, fit-for-work obligations, and incident reporting requirements in accordance with company HSE expectations and site requirements.
- · Maintain accurate operational records, handover notes, service documentation, and job-related reports as required under the contract.
- · Support safe equipment handling, housekeeping, and operational discipline throughout the work period.
- Constraints and Special Considerations
- · This is a six-month fixed-term contract aligned to the current manpower forecast for the role.
- · The role is intended for offshore operations and requires prior offshore experience.
- · The role may involve rig-based work in offshore and onshore operating environments depending on project needs.
- · Candidate must be able to mobilize to Guyana and work in a structured, safety-critical, client-facing oilfield environment.
- · Candidate must be willing to work under rotational or operational schedules based on vessel, rig, and field requirements.
- · Candidate must be comfortable working within a controlled workforce framework where technical approval, deployment suitability, and operational supervision remain with the end operator.
Experience and Qualifications
- · Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Service Operator – Stim Jobs role or in a closely comparable stimulation equipment operations position.
- · Demonstrated experience in offshore operations.
- · Strong operational knowledge of stimulation equipment preparation, function testing, routine maintenance, rig up, rig down, and field execution support.
- · Experience operating DME, HT400 high-pressure pumps, blenders, mixers, and CPumps in stimulation service environments.
- · Completion of Service Operator – F competencies, or an equivalent level of competence gained through prior industry experience.
- · Valid OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certification.
- · Proficiency in English.
- · Strong communication, teamwork, operational discipline, and equipment-care awareness in high-risk field environments.
- · Ability to work effectively within supervised job execution and established operational procedures.
- · Valid passport and ability to travel, mobilize offshore, and satisfy deployment readiness requirements for the duration of the contract.
