Job Opportunity: Quality Inspector

Location: Mirabel, QC
Company: AAA Canada (mandate for a major aerospace industry leader)
Schedule: Day Shift
Expected Start Date: June 2026
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Project

The Structural Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying the conformity of structural parts and assemblies against drawings, specifications, standards, and customer requirements. The incumbent identifies non-conformities and helps ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of aircraft.

Responsibilities

Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Measure and monitor process performance.
Define and implement corrective and preventive actions within the department.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to validate assemblies.
Inspect bores and verify fastener installation.
Monitor and track assembler qualifications and competencies.
Ensure traceability of quality-related information.
Follow all quality procedures and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of a Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in Aerospace Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or an equivalent field.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in quality inspection.
Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and methodologies.
Excellent understanding of aerospace technical specifications.
Knowledge of aerospace standards and requirements (BAPS, AIPI, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, is considered a strong asset for communication within the client’s multilingual environment and for technical documentation.
