Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a cook. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the food industry, with experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations. The position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills, ensure food safety, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic restaurant environment. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and plating dishes
Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
Follow food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health department standards
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with meal assembly and service
Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues

Skills

Experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry preferred
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Cooking skills that include meal preparation and presentation techniques
