Full job description

The Biomedical Technician, under the supervision of the Biomedical Services Manager, is responsible for the assembly, factory calibration, and quality control of medical devices that combine electronic and mechanical components in a highly regulated environment.

General responsibilities include:

Performing the assembly of the different devices in the Thorasys’s portfolio;
Programming firmware onto printed circuit boards;
Assembling mechanical and electronic components;
Calibrating pressure and flow transducers;
Performing factory calibration of medical devices;
Meticulously documenting each step to ensure traceability in accordance with quality assurance procedures;
Operating and maintaining the Manufacturing and Inventory Transfer modules of the ERP system;
Performing preventive maintenance on designated equipment.

Le technicien biomédical, sous la supervision du responsable des services biomédicaux, est responsable de l’assemblage, de la calibration en usine et du contrôle qualité des dispositifs médicaux combinant des composants électroniques et mécaniques dans un environnement hautement réglementé.

Les responsabilités générales incluent :

Effectuer l’assemblage des différents dispositifs du portefeuille de l’entreprise Thorasys;
Programmer les micrologiciels (firmware) sur les cartes de circuits imprimés ;
Assembler les composants mécaniques et électroniques ;
Effectuer l’étalonnage des capteurs de pression et de débit ;
Réaliser la calibration en usine des dispositifs médicaux ;
Documenter minutieusement chaque étape afin d’assurer la traçabilité conformément aux procédures d’assurance qualité ;
Utiliser et maintenir les modules de fabrication et de transfert d’inventaire du système ERP ;
Effectuer la maintenance préventive des équipements désignés.
