Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Coordinator to support our construction projects from initiation to completion. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in project management, construction processes, and industry-specific software. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining effective communication among team members and stakeholders. A strong foundation in construction principles, software proficiency, and excellent time management are essential for success in this role.

Duties

Assist in developing and reviewing project schedules using Contractor Forman and other construction management software.
Support the preparation and review of construction estimates utilizing Contractor Forman and other estimating tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings to facilitate project planning and execution.
Use Bluebeam and other digital tools to annotate, review, and manage project documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Track project progress, update schedules, and communicate changes or delays promptly.
Support project managers in maintaining compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Contribute to the preparation of reports, meeting agendas, and documentation necessary for project tracking.

Requirements

Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and civil design drawings.
Familiarity with construction estimating processes and construction management software such as Contractor Forman is preferred.
Knowledge of Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Contractor Forman, or similar industry tools is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
Basic knowledge of construction principles and project management practices.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to facilitate clear coordination among team members.
Prior internship or relevant experience in construction or civil engineering is advantageous but not required. This position provides a valuable platform for individuals aspiring to grow within the construction management field by gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and processes while contributing to meaningful projects.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
