Position: Full-Time Psychologist (Registered)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled registered Psychologist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide assessment, therapy, and consultation services for children and adolescents. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, educators, and families to deliver integrated, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for youth facing challenges including learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, mood disorders, and school-related concerns.
- Provide evidence-based individual therapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, play therapy, and others depending on client needs.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to integrate findings and recommendations into academic intervention plans and parent strategies.
- Engage in parent consultations and provide guidance on strategies for supporting children’s emotional and educational development.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, reports, and feedback sessions with families.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to program development.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. / Psy.D.)
- Current registration with College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (C. Psych or equivalent)
- Experience with child and adolescent assessment and therapy
- Strong clinical skills with evidence-based treatment approaches
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and trauma-informed practice
