As a Senior Enterprise Software Developer at FLYHT, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing software that supports our innovative aerospace data solutions. You’ll lead the creation of enterprise-grade applications that integrate with aircraft communication and measurement systems, all within a collaborative Agile environment. Your responsibilities will span the full development lifecycle—from planning and implementation to testing and deployment—with a strong focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient software that meets customer needs. You’ll contribute to internal tool development, support cross-functional teams, and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and code quality. 3+ years of professional software development experience (7+ years preferred)

Completion of a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience with one or more of Node.js, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, Python, Go, Java

Familiarity with AWS Serverless and Managed Technologies (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, RDS)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, Git, and automated testing frameworks

Experience with enterprise software development, integration with hardware and third-party platforms

Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport (travel may be required)

Understanding of Linux and RTOS BSPs
-
Experience with test automation and automated code coverage analysis
-
Knowledge of aeronautic industry standards (DO-278)

Familiarity with aircraft data buses (ARINC 717, ARINC 429)

Experience with satellite-based communication products

Understanding of industry standard messaging protocols

Experience simulating connected devices and systems

Familiarity with IaC tools (SAM, CloudFormation, Terraform)

Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, and Atlassian tools

Exposure to TDD and testing frameworks like Playwright, Pytest, Jest, Artillery

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
