Procurement & Inventory Manager
Keep Elite Crews Moving. Build the System. Help Us Scale.
Proscape Land Design is growing fast, and we’re looking for a highly organized, positive, detail-obsessed Procurement & Inventory Manager to help build the supply system behind one of Ontario’s leading luxury landscape companies.
This is not a quiet purchasing desk job.
This is a busy, fast-moving, high-standard environment where crews depend on you, suppliers know you by name, details matter, and the work you do directly affects production, profitability, client experience, and team morale.
If you like structure, follow-through, problem-solving, and being the person who keeps everyone moving, this could be a career-defining role.
The Mission
Your mission is clear:
Make sure every Proscape crew has the right materials, at the right time, at the right price.
That means coordinating purchasing across all divisions, building supplier relationships, managing inventory, improving systems, and helping our operations team stay ahead instead of reacting at the last minute.
We are a luxury landscape design-build and property care company working on large-scale residential projects across the GTA. Our work includes landscape construction, pools, masonry, planting, hardscapes, enhancements, maintenance, and seasonal operations.
As we continue scaling toward our long-term vision, procurement and inventory can no longer live in people’s heads, inboxes, trucks, or last-minute phone calls. We need a leader who can help build the system.
This Role Is For You If…
You are the person who notices the missing detail before it becomes a problem.
You love a busy day, but you don’t love chaos. You believe good systems, clear communication, and strong follow-through make everyone’s job easier.
You can work with owners, project managers, field leaders, suppliers, finance, and yard/shop teams without getting rattled. You are positive, steady, and committed — even when the day gets full.
You take pride in being dependable. When you say something will get handled, people trust that it will.
This Role Is Not For You If…
You need a slow-paced environment.
You are uncomfortable holding suppliers, teammates, or yourself accountable.
You avoid details, follow-up, spreadsheets, systems, or hard conversations.
You want a role where everything is already perfectly built.
This position is for someone who wants to help create the next version of Proscape — not just maintain the current one.
What You’ll Own
- Keeping crews supplied with the materials, products, and inventory they need
- Coordinating purchasing across design/build, pool, maintenance, enhancements, and future divisions
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Negotiating seasonal pricing with key suppliers
- Securing project-specific pricing for major landscape construction projects
- Managing inventory at our main yard and shop
- Improving how materials are ordered, received, tracked, stored, and issued
- Working closely with Ownership, Senior Management, Finance, Operations, Project Managers, and Field Leaders
- Reducing emergency purchases, duplicate orders, waste, delays, and confusion
- Helping protect project margins through smarter buying and better planning
- Creating a procurement rhythm that helps Proscape scale with confidence
What Success Looks Like
Crews are not waiting around for materials.
Project managers know what has been ordered, what is coming, and what needs attention.
Suppliers are organized, responsive, and held to clear expectations.
Inventory is visible, accurate, and controlled.
Finance has cleaner purchasing information.
Operations has fewer surprises.
The whole company feels the difference because one strong person is bringing order, urgency, and ownership to a critical part of the business.
Experience We’re Looking For
Landscape construction, or building materials experience is strongly preferred.
Experience with hardscape materials, aggregates, plant material, soils, mulches, lumber, concrete, equipment rentals, subcontractors, or construction supply would be a major asset.
That said, we are also open to a systems-driven procurement, inventory, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain professional from a related industry who understands operational urgency and wants to grow with a high-performing company. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards the below listed qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Construction Management, or a related field
- Supply Chain Canada (SCMP) coursework or designation
- PMAC/Supply Chain Management training
- Equivalent practical experience
The Traits That Matter Most

- Committed to building something better, not just getting through the day
