Full job description

At SiteWorx Concrete we understand concrete employees are the backbone of our business. We are a fast growing company serving the Greater Calgary area with a focus on excellence in all we do. We build our work right the first time, with the highest value to our clients. We are currently hiring experienced Concrete Finishers, Carpenters/Form setters and Laboure's. Experience in pouring, curb and gutter, stamped concrete and sidewalk finishing is an asset. At SiteWorx we offer competitive wages and benefits. Must be willing to work long hours, in a team environment and be willing to learn. Please email resume.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the proper level of concrete is smooth.
Ensure proper tools are used for the job.
Proper finish (broom) is applied.
Clean the worksite of any tools, debris, and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience as a finisher.
Must be physically fit and able to bend over for long periods of time
Basic carpentry skills and the ability to read construction plans considered an asset.
Thorough understanding of construction procedures and safety practices.
Having your own transportation with strong knowledge of Calgary and surrounding area is an asset.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Must be available to work long hours including evenings and weekends during the work season from April to December.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 – 75 lbs. forming material
Must have CSA-approved safety boots.
