- Relationship Management: Serving as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving disputes with diplomacy, and working proactively to maintain positive client relationships.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generating monthly financial reports and monitoring aging reports to keep the Controller informed on the status of our accounts.
- Process Oversight: Managing the full cycle of the A/R process, from processing new credit applications to overseeing month-end closings.
- Collaboration: Working alongside the service and sales teams to provide the support needed to keep operations moving efficiently.
What You Bring
We’re looking for a professional who is organized, reliable, and approachable.
- Experience: 5+ years of direct experience in an A/R capacity or equivalent combination.
- Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable with accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Financial Accuracy: You have a high degree of precision when calculating, posting, and reconciling financial records.
- Communication Skills: You are skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution, able to handle delicate conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- The Right Mindset: You take ownership of your work, you’re a team player, and you approach problem-solving with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Organization: You are highly organized, with the ability to maintain clear and accurate records and notes.
- Attention to Detail: You have an unwavering focus on accuracy and detail in every task, with a keen eye for invoice details, formatting of outgoing documents, and sales invoices.
- Customer Follow-up: You are diligent in your follow-up, ensuring all client interactions are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
