Your Team:
Join the Information Technology team at Flair as a Full Stack Developer, where innovation, collaboration, and technology come together to build solutions that support both our customers and our business. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting modern web, mobile, API, and cloud-based applications. In this role, you will work across the technology stack to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that enhance customer-facing and internal business systems. Working closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of digital experiences, system integrations, and technology platforms that drive operational efficiency and business growth. The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and collaborative software professional who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role reports to the Director, Software Engineering, and is located on-site at any of our offices in Calgary, AB (YYC), Edmonton, AB (YEG), Vancouver, BC (YVR), or Toronto, ON (YYZ).
A Day in the Life:

As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
-
Design, develop, test, and maintain web, mobile, and API-based applications.

Build scalable front-end and back-end solutions using modern development frameworks and best practices.

Develop and support integrations with internal and third-party systems.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
-
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

Create and maintain technical documentation where appropriate.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Technical Product Managers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver technology initiatives.

Participate in Agile planning, estimation, sprint reviews, and delivery activities.

Support application releases and deployment activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development and delivery processes

Develop and support solutions running in cloud environments.

Contribute to application performance, scalability, security, and reliability improvements.

Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.

Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure operational excellence
What You Bring to the Role:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
-
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive software development experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting web applications, APIs, and system integrations.

Strong proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: .NET/C#, Python, Next.js, React, TypeScript, or Flutter.

Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

Experience developing and deploying applications within cloud environments, preferably AWS.

Experience using Git and modern source control and version management practices.

Experience working within Agile software development environments and participating in the full software development lifecycle.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
