Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Shift Production Supervisor/ Process Technician who is fluent in both Mandarin and English to oversee our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of production processes, monitoring and supporting daily production planning, and managing PCB assembly operations. The successful candidate will maintain our high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while contributing to Bittele's commitment to excellence in electronic manufacturing.
Work Type: Full-Time, Permanent, On-site
Working Hours: Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Training Period: The successful candidate will complete an initial 6-month training period on the Day Shift (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) before transitioning to the regular Afternoon Shift schedule.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review sales orders and estimate manufacturing lead times.
- Schedule the work orders to the production floor based on order priorities, material availability, production capacity.
- Coordinate with Planning, Project Coordinators, and Engineering to review and reschedule the work plan and inform the relevant departments of any schedule changes.
- Release work orders production based on the schedules, priorities, and resources
- Check the work orders to ensure all necessary requirements are listed under special requirements and ECNs, if have, are attached.
- Assign production resources to each work order to ensure on-time completion.
- Assign the production resources to each individual order to ensure it can be finished on time
- Monitor the orders execution in production to ensure the lines run smoothly and efficiently.
- Verify the special requirements and ECNs are fulfilled in production lines.
- Set up and operate the SMT/PCBA production line, including the paste printer, pick-and-place machine, reflow oven, AOI, selective soldering equipment, and other production equipment for daily manufacturing.
- Optimize and troubleshoot the PCBA production line to improve efficiency and minimize machine downtime.
- Perform first article inspections to ensure products meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Implement engineering changes into the production process based on ECOs and ECNs.
- Request replacement parts for production losses, monitor material readiness, and coordinate repairs as required.
- Perform process data collection, monitoring, and SPC analysis to support continuous process improvement.
- Identify and report production bottlenecks, delays, and process issues.
- Forecast consumable material usage and coordinate purchasing requirements accordingly.
- Conduct daily and preventive maintenance of the PCBA production line and equipment.
- Prepare daily production reports and coordinate post-assembly DFM reports with Engineering when required.
- Prepare, maintain, and update relevant SOPs, and ensure team members receive the required training.
- Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Diploma in Electronics Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of PCBA manufacturing requirements and planning.
- Communication Skills: English and Mandarin are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of IPC standards is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Can-do and willing-to-do attitude
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
