Overview

Our Client is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to produce precise metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

The Brake Press Operator will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, contributing to the creation of complex parts and assemblies used across various industries.

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machines with precision to form metal sheets according to specifications.
Utilize CNC programming and Fanuc controls to set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
Collaborate with team members on assembly, welding, or packaging tasks when required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Support quality control procedures by inspecting finished parts for defects or deviations from specifications.

Skills

Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control standards.
Understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CNC systems for efficient machine setup.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.

$20 per hour
