About Electric Avenue
Electric Avenue is a Canadian electric vehicle charging company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We provide EV charging solutions for commercial, industrial, residential and fleet applications across North America.
We are growing quickly, and we are looking for an organized, dependable, roll-up-your-sleeves person to keep our customers supported and our office running.
About the Role
This is a two-part role, and we want to be upfront about both parts.
The bigger part — roughly 70% of your week — is customer and sales support. You will be a day-to-day point of contact for our distributors, third-party sales representatives and customers. You will answer questions about order status, stock availability, lead times and product availability, prepare quotations using our standard pricing, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a communication and coordination role, not a technical troubleshooting role.
The other part — roughly 30% of your week — is keeping the office running. That means the practical, hands-on things a growing company needs someone to own: receiving and prepping shipments, stock and warehouse runs, keeping supplies stocked and shared spaces in good shape, and setting up for meetings and company events.
We will be straight with you: some of this second part is not glamorous. It is the everyday work that keeps a small, fast-moving company functioning, and the person in this seat is the one who makes sure it gets done. If you take pride in being the person who keeps things running and does not consider any task beneath you, you will do very well here. If you are looking for a pure desk-and-inbox role, this is not the right fit, and we would rather you know that now.
