Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Laboratory Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely laboratory testing that supports patient diagnosis and treatment. You will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, ensuring quality control, and maintaining precise records to support clinical decision-making.

Duties

Collect and prepare specimens through phlebotomy, ensuring patient comfort and safety during blood draws
Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests using advanced equipment and techniques, adhering to established protocols
Analyze test data accurately, identify anomalies, and report findings promptly to healthcare providers
Maintain meticulous records of all procedures, results, and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Assist with inventory management by ordering supplies and calibrating laboratory instruments regularly
Follow strict safety guidelines and infection control procedures to uphold a safe working environment
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret test results and provide insights that support patient care decisions

Qualifications

Proven hospital experience or clinical laboratory background demonstrating familiarity with medical environments
Skilled in phlebotomy with certification or demonstrated proficiency in blood collection techniques
Strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
Prior laboratory experience with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of test results
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy in all tasks
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
