About Us: We are a leading tree care company dedicated to providing exceptional tree care services to residential and commercial clients. Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Grounds Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow within the tree care industry. As a Grounds Person, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tree care operations by assisting with various tasks related to ground maintenance, equipment operation, and team support.

Responsibilities:

Assist tree care crew with on-site operations, including but not limited to tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding.
Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and other specialized tools under the supervision of experienced crew members.
Safely and efficiently perform tasks such as debris cleanup, brush hauling, and site preparation to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
Participate in training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge related to tree care techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
Assist in the maintenance and organization of company vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
Represent the company professionally and positively while interacting with clients and members of the community.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related field preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and operating heavy equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid DZ driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
