SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - 82,000 per year
THE ROLE:
The Programmer plays a key role in developing and improving software applications and business intelligence tools that drive innovation across Acres. Reporting to the Manager of AI & Automation you’ll build and integrate code, implement dashboards and reports, and collaborate with multiple teams to provide reliable and insightful data solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Department Participation
- Participate in team meetings to provide coding project updates and troubleshoot application issues.
- Understand and gather organizational needs to set specifications for reporting applications.
- Stay current with trends in emerging technologies and tools; propose ideas for tech-driven improvements.
- Build expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric and PowerBI.
- Maintain strong relationships with external consultants and vendors for tech support and solutions.
- Provide on-demand business intelligence reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
Programming & Business Intelligence
- Analyze business needs and design data models to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
- Write, test, and implement code for software applications and system integrations.
- Design and automate dashboards and reports using Power BI and other tools.
- Monitor the reliability and performance of reports and present findings to the Manager of AI & Automation.
- Coordinate review and change management processes for BI production to ensure data integrity.
- Develop user training materials and coach teams on BI tools and best practices.
Personal Management
- Communicate planned vacation time in advance to support coverage planning.
- Demonstrate and promote Acres’ core values and business conduct standards in all interactions.
- Foster strong working relationships across departments, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Computer Science or related post-secondary education.
- Proven experience in software development, coding, and/or business intelligence.
- Strong understanding of Power BI, Microsoft 365, and database systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
