As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Coordinator to help tell the Kristian Electric story. If you're passionate about creating engaging content, capturing great photos and videos, and building an active online community, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, you will support Kristian Electric's social media presence by creating engaging content and helping showcase our people, projects, products, and culture. Working alongside the Marketing team, you'll help plan, create, and publish content that strengthens our brand and connects with our audience.
As the Social Media Coordinator, you'll assist with company marketing campaigns through creative storytelling, photography, videography, graphic design, and social media management while helping maintain a consistent and engaging online presence.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management

Assist in managing and growing Kristian Electric's social media presence across multiple platforms.

Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.

Monitor and respond professionally to comments and messages.

Assist with developing content calendars and maintaining consistent brand messaging.

Monitor social media trends and recommend new content ideas.

Track engagement metrics and provide insights for continual improvement.
Content Creation

Create high-quality graphics, photography, videos, animations, and promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Capture photos and videos of projects, products, employees, and company events.

Edit short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify stories worth sharing.

Create digital and print marketing materials including:

Digital advertisements

Flyers

Product promotions

Internal communications

Event materials

Recruitment campaigns
Marketing Support

Assist in creating social media and marketing assets that support company campaigns.

Promote distributor programs and seasonal promotions through social media.

Assist with trade shows, sponsorships, and company events by creating promotional content.

Support recruitment and employer branding initiatives.

Work with the Marketing team to execute marketing campaigns.
Brand Development

Support the consistent and professional presentation of the Kristian Electric brand across all marketing channels.

Support showroom merchandising and branding initiatives with branch teams.

Ensure marketing materials align with Kristian Electric's values and image.

Assist with company events, trade shows, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
Collaboration

Work closely with employees from all departments to identify stories and marketing opportunities.

Help develop a simple content request process that encourages employees to submit ideas, project photos, and success stories.

Support marketing initiatives across all Kristian Electric branches.

Collaborate with the Marketing team on company marketing campaigns.

Coordinate with branch teams to plan and capture content for new products, services, and events.

Build relationships across the company to encourage ongoing content creation.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience

2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization.

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).

Experience with Canva and social media scheduling tools.
-
Photography and videography experience is considered an asset.
-
Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or B2B marketing is considered an asset.
