Reena is actively recruiting passionate and dedicated Part-Time- Recreational Support Workers (RSW) for our Fall 2026 Community Outreach Programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting inclusion, independence, and personal growth through recreational and community-based programming.
This is an excellent opportunity for college and university students seeking part-time employment with potential for long-term growth within Reena.
Term: October 18th, 2026 – December 13th, 2026.
This is an existing seasonal role that is recruited annually to support fall recreation programming and services.
Schedule:
- Monday - 5:00 - 9:00 PM
- Tuesday 4:30 -8:00 PM
- Wednesday 5:00 - 9:00 PM
- Thursday 5:00 - 9:00 PM
- Sunday 11:00 AM -5:30 PM

Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in meeting their needs of daily living- Design and implement recreational based activities
- Reinforce social and life skills

Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older.
- Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory.
- Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)

In 1977, Reena began receiving funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and since that time has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy.
