Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong commitment to food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional meals in a timely manner. The position requires a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has previous experience in food service or the food industry.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and meet customer expectations
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
