Job Summary:

Flowserve The company is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office, for the role of Applications Engineer for a fill-time permanent position.

In this role, you will develop solutions for customers and partners across industrial and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Support of the defined clientele in the office
Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
Technical and commercial preparation of offers
Order acceptance, review, and preparation (Complete Order)
And any other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Engineer for 3-5 years.

A valves application engineer would also need to be comfortable with Flowserve’s product portfolio and customer-facing technical support, in particular valve types knowledge, sizing and selection basics, reading P&IDs and datasheets, troubleshooting flow and pressure issues.
Customer communication and proposal writing skills.
Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking.
SAP knowledge Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications.
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience

This position will be working out of office with minimum travel requirements.

This professional will work in a team of peers sharing work load for 2-3 product lines.
