Come work as a Geriatrician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
The Richmond Community of Care, part of Vancouver Coastal Health, is recruiting a 1.0 Full Time Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join a well-established, integrated, inter-professional Geriatrics program providing care across the health care continuum. The successful applicant will be able to participate in creating a position with a balance of both inpatient consultative service, and outpatient clinical duties. The position will not require participation in an on-call rota and will begin at a provisional staff category. Membership and advancement within the UBC Division of Geriatric Medicine is available to qualified candidates.
The outpatient portion of this position will be anchored at the Richmond Community Health Access Centre, a brand new, purpose-built facility for outpatient, older adult health that opened in March 2020. The Richmond Community of Care will also inaugurate a new 9 story acute care tower, currently scheduled to open in 2029.

The applicant may be eligible to augment their allotted FTE in the future depending on the needs of the Division and with approval from the Medical Lead.

Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Full

Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory

Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Mandatory

Currently only accepting physicians who have completed their internal medicine and geriatric medicine fellowship in Canada
