We're placing a Full Stack Developer Intern with one of our clients, NewPath Consulting — a Toronto-based technology consultancy that helps membership organizations, non-profits, clubs, and associations run their operations more efficiently. NewPath is the #1 service partner for WildApricot (Membership Management Software) and Make.com automations, and builds custom integrations that hundreds of client organizations rely on to manage members, events, websites, and finances. This is a paid, 4-month internship. You'll work on real integrations between WildApricot and third-party services, build custom Make.com scenarios and Node.js backend logic, and contribute to AccountBridge, NewPath's QuickBooks-for-WildApricot product.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React / Vite / Node.js backend integrations for the AccountBridge product
- Design Make.com automation scenarios that connect WildApricot with external services (CRM, email marketing, payment gateways)
- Develop custom Make.com modules or use webhooks and API calls from Make.com to Node.js when needed
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Collaborate with client success and project managers to understand client needs
- Troubleshoot integration and front-end issues
Requirements
- Currently studying computer science, software engineering, or a related field at a Canadian university or college
- Familiarity with React, Node.js, and JavaScript
- Understanding of RESTful API principles
- Comfort with Git version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity about integration work
- Clear communicator — you can explain technical decisions to non-technical teammates
Nice to have
- Prior experience with automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n)
- Familiarity with WildApricot API
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud, or Docker
