We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer (Contractor) to join our Global Equity Derivatives Risk Technology team. The successful candidate will work on our risk reporting platform and contribute to pricing and risk management systems, workflow automation, DevOps improvements, and production support tooling.
Assist with user adoption of globally developed technology solutions through user training and collaboration with development teams to enhance the overall user experience.
Participate in the design and development of tools and applications supporting pricing infrastructure and related business areas.
Revamp existing technology to improve scalability, efficiency, and performance.
Profile, analyze, and optimize system performance.
Improve production support documentation and tooling.
Assist with technology upgrades and platform modernization initiatives.
Proactively identify system deficiencies and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to determine corrective actions.
Develop technical solutions to remediate production and operational issues.
Support debugging and troubleshooting of system and software deficiencies.
Maintain and improve production support processes and tooling.
Review and understand business requirements.
Contribute to functional specifications, system impact assessments, and technology dependency analysis.
Learn and leverage development tools required to be an effective contributor.
Deliver user training, publish release notes, and perform release-related tasks.
Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting existing business technology platforms.
Provide regular status updates to global and local managers as well as business technology leadership.
Collaborate closely with business users, developers, and technology partners across global teams.
Work Arrangement
Technical Skills & Experience
8+ years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets software development.
8+ years of professional C++ development experience.
Strong proficiency in multi-threaded programming.
Strong experience with Oracle and Python.
Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience developing or consuming web services.
Strong knowledge of JSON and XML.
Experience working with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.
Experience supporting production environments.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.88/hour - $54.50/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
