Job Summary

We are seeking friendly and attentive Server/Bar Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and service standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering memorable experiences to our patrons.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements when necessary
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and proper handling of all food items according to health regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, bar, and surrounding spaces
Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with effective time management
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance customer experience
Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit

Skills

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods efficiently
Ability to serve guests promptly while maintaining attention to detail
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests confidently
Basic understanding of the food industry operations and hospitality standards
