We offer a wide selection of fine jewellery and personalized services, including jewellery sales, custom design, repairs, appraisals, engraving, and gold-buying services.
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be confident in sales, passionate about providing exceptional customer service, and flexible to work at both our North Vancouver and Kitsilano locations.
This position is ideal for an experienced Retail Sales Associate, Jewellery Sales Associate, Luxury Retail Sales Consultant, or Customer Service Professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Welcome customers warmly and provide professional, personalized service
- Assist customers in selecting jewellery, gifts, and services based on their needs, preferences, and budget
- Explain product features, precious metals, gemstones, diamonds, warranties, and jewellery care
- Build customer trust and develop long-term client relationships
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets
- Process purchases, exchanges, special orders, and customer payments accurately
- Operate the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate transaction records
- Assist customers with jewellery repairs, custom orders, appraisals, engraving requests, and gold-buying inquiries
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, repairs, and product availability
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and showcase our latest collections
- Ensure showcases, counters, and customer areas remain clean, polished, secure, and professionally presented
- Assist with inventory counts, product receiving, pricing, tagging, and stock organization
- Uphold store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and inventory management
- Handle valuable jewellery and merchandise carefully and responsibly
- Follow all loss-prevention and store-security procedures
- Work collaboratively with management and other team members
- Support daily opening and closing procedures
- Work at either the North Vancouver or Kitsilano location according to scheduling and business needs
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of retail sales experience
- Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence recommending products and closing sales
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working toward individual and store sales targets
- Able to handle valuable merchandise carefully and responsibly
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and varying retail shifts
- Able and willing to work at both our North Vancouver and Kitsilano locations
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to provide two professional references
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous jewellery sales or fine-jewellery retail experience
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion retail, watches, diamonds, gemstones, or precious metals
- Knowledge of gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery care
- Experience with custom jewellery, repairs, appraisals, or gold-buying services
- Experience using Shopify POS or a similar retail point-of-sale system
- Additional language skills are considered an asset
