Mobile Automotive Technician (310S Licensed)
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Primarily Toronto Core, GTA & Surrounding Areas)
Pay: $30–$50/hour (based on experience, diagnostic ability, and qualifications)

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Mobile 310S Licensed Technician to join our team. This role involves performing automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on-site at various customer locations while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically under pressure. Mobile service presents unique challenges that often require technicians to troubleshoot efficiently, adapt to changing conditions, and make sound repair decisions independently. The successful candidate will be confident working without direct supervision and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in the field.
Work Area & Schedule:
- Mobile automotive service position based in Toronto, Ontario.
- Primary service area includes the Downtown Toronto Core, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and surrounding regions.
- Technician will travel directly to customer locations to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services.
- Company-provided fully equipped service van.
- Technicians take their assigned service van home, allowing direct travel to customer locations without reporting to a shop each morning.
- Monday to Friday schedule with overtime opportunities available.
- Occasional flexibility may be required based on customer scheduling needs.
- Emergency or Priority calls when needed anytime.

Duties:
- Perform automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment, service information, and technical expertise.
- Apply strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to efficiently identify root causes and develop effective repair solutions.
- Make informed repair decisions independently while working in a mobile environment with limited resources.
- Utilize diagnostic software, scan tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, specifications, wiring diagrams, and service information.
- Perform vehicle inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair verification.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and communicate findings clearly with customers and management.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service while representing the company at customer locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service vehicle.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Experience:
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence.
- Prior dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of automotive systems.
- Strong diagnostic ability is essential. Candidates must be comfortable diagnosing complex electrical, drivability, CAN bus, and intermittent vehicle concerns.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and professionalism.
- Proficiency using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment, scan tools, technical service information, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting components and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
