Iron Gate is Canada’s premier fine wine and spirits auction and storage house. We connect collectors across the country with rare and exceptional bottles through our professionally curated auctions. Our industry reputation is deeply rooted in trust, professionalism, and outstanding client service.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, mature, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Vault/Auction Support Specialist. This position is a full-time role offering 35+ hours per week. Please note that some evenings/overnights may be required from time to time.

The idea candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. You will work in a fast-paced environment where safety and must be able to problem solve independently.

Key Responsibilities

Various Vault tasks-storage withdrawals, consolidations, audits, receipts
Perform detailed intakes for newly received product
Assist with client pick-ups and drop-offs for wine and spirits
Off-site pick ups and drop offs, overnights are sometimes required
Occasionally organize and execute the lotting and gathering of product
Provide exceptional on-site customer care and support
Monitor and respond to incoming emails and client inquiries
Execute general administrative tasks as needed

Skills

High school diploma or GED is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or retail
G Full Driver’s License -Ability to navigate around the city and partake in long drives as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Professional, mature, and highly dependable demeanor
Self-starter with high energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, organizational skills, time management, strict attention to detail and flexibility
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively when required and work on your feet
Safety-minded approach to physical tasks and warehouse duties
Knowledge of wine is considered an asset, though it is not required
